Configure real market data. Your key stays on the server, never in the app bundle.
Twelve Data
EUR/USD · REST quotes + WebSocket ticks
Secure setup, step by step
- 1
Create a market-data account
Sign up with Twelve Data and copy your API key from its dashboard. Review EUR/USD access, plan limits, and permission to display data publicly.
Open Twelve Data - 2
Save the key as a backend secret
In this app’s editor, open the Secrets panel. Add TWELVE_DATA_API_KEY as the name and your API key as the value, then save. This is the secure saving step; do not paste credentials into the browser or the shared key-value store.
- 3
Verify, then connect
Return here and choose Check status. Test a real REST quote, or connect the tick feed from Overview. REST quotes are not enough for 5–15 second signals.
Private by design
The function reads the key from backend Secrets. The browser receives only observations and connection status. The connection uses the app owner’s provider quota; sharing it publicly can consume that quota. Only the app owner manages the secret through the editor.
No credentials stored in shared history
Free does not mean tick-ready
Twelve Data has a free REST tier with usage limits. Trial WebSocket access is restricted; full streaming requires an eligible paid plan. Public data display may require separate business permissions. The provider advertises forex rates updated at least once per minute; that cadence cannot support 5–15 second tick analysis. Tick availability depends on your subscription and the actual observations received. This app samples real WebSocket observations in short server-side requests rather than maintaining a continuous browser stream. Delivery delays or coverage gaps force WAIT.
Check current plan restrictionsNot your broker’s feed
Provider EUR/USD prices can differ from Quotex, especially OTC instruments. This app does not connect to Quotex or place orders. Trading carries a risk of losing your entire stake.
